This evening Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to Beach road in Shelly Beach for reports of an accident.
When emergency services arrived on the scene they found that construction workers were working on the road when a car crashed into the site.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that an occupant of the car had sustained minor injuries and a construction worker had sustained serious injuries.
The patients were treated on scene and transported to the hospital.
