Construction worker airlifted to hospital after falling at a residential complex

At 12H28 Thursday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to reports of falls at a residential complex near Roodeplaat Dam, Pretoria North.

Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male construction worker had fallen approximately three meters landing head first onto a concrete floor.

Medics arrived on scene and found the man in a serious condition.

The patient was treated on scene by an Advanced life support paramedic who activated a Netcare 911 Helicopter ambulance.

Once stabilised the patient was flown to the hospital for further treatment.
