A 42-year-old construction worker suffered a fractured left ankle after a bank collapsed on the excavator he was operating in Phoenix – KwaZulu-Natal earlier today.
Reaction Unit South Africa received the call for assistance at 14:20 (Tuesday) and arrived on scene at Industrial Park Drive a short while later.
The injured man was stabilized on the scene by paramedics and transported to Life Mount Edgecombe Hospital.
