Gauteng: At 08H53 Friday morning Netcare 911 responded to a crush injury on Steenbok Street in Koedoespoort Pretoria.
Reports indicate that a large PVC pipe has fallen onto a worker while loading a truck with a crane.
The patient, an adult male, had sustained serious injuries and was treated on scene by an emergency care practitioner.
Due to the serious nature of the man’s injuries, a Netcare 911 helicopter and ambulance was activated to airlift the patient to a specialist facility.
