One person has died and several others were injured after a bakkie collided with a construction vehicle on the N2, at Boontjieskraal near Caledon in the Overberg.
Traffic spokesperson, Jandre Bakker, says a woman believed to be in her late 40’s suffered fatal injuries in the incident.
He says three men and two other women were slightly injured.
Bakker says an eyewitness indicated that the bakkie attempted to overtake the grader, which led to the collision.
