Western Cape: At 13H24 Tuesday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a fall at a construction site in Bantry Bay.
Reports indicate that an adult male had fallen approximately three meters.
When medics arrived on the scene they found the patient being given first-aid by the site safety officers.
The patient was treated by a Netcare 911 emergency care practitioner for suspected spinal injuries.
With the help of the City of Cape Town Fire and Rescue services, a crane was used to lower the patient and paramedic to the awaiting ambulance.
Once stabilised, the man was transported to the hospital for the care he required.
