The Operation Siyazenzela programme is aimed at improving service delivery. It seeks to augment and integrate resources to focus on rapid outputs and results. Resources, including personnel and equipment, are channelled to those particular priority areas. It will move to all local municipalities in the province with priority given to improving gravel roads.
The HoD for Transport, Mr Siboniso Mbhele today led the team to inspect this massive rollout programme on P73 in uMzumbe. The programme will soon be launched by the MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Ms Neliswa Peggy Nkonyeni.
