Repairs of the Phoenix Wastewater Trunk Sewers are underway

The sewers were damaged during the floods earlier this year. The damage resulted in the pollution of some rivers in the north. Due to the extent of the damage, repairs are expected to take six months.

The Municipality is conducting ongoing water monitoring of affected rivers to prevent waterborne diseases while repairs are ongoing.
