Minister of the Department of Transport Fikile Mbalula visited the Msikaba Bridge to assess progress made in the construction of the bridge.
The bridge will connect Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal provinces and has created at least 1000 jobs for local communities. The project continues to create thousands of new jobs and economic opportunities in line with the new Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan (ERRP)
The Msikaba Bridge Project, which is currently underway, spans the Msikaba River near Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape. It forms part of the N2 Wild Coast (N2WC) road project.
