At 21H40 Friday evening, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Beyers Naude Drive in Waterval, Johannesburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control, resulting in the car leaving the road, and then coming to rest in an excavated hole.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the patient, an adult male had sustained moderate injuries.
The man was treated on scene by an advanced life support paramedic and once stabilised was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further care.
