The Department of Transport continued with its rollout of Operation Siyazenzela and Operation Siyagulula in Alfred Duma Local Municipality.
MEC for Transport, Community Safety, and Liaison, Sipho Hlomuka accompanied by local leadership visited Ward 3 in Ezakheni to monitor operations where internal teams have been dispatched to fix and maintain roads and to fill up potholes.
MEC Hlomuka said this programme would be rolled out to other nearby wards and eventually move to other municipalities within the Uthukela District.
MEC Hlomuka concluded the day by holding a community engagement with the community of Ezakheni.
