A building contractor was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash on Marula Circle – KwaZulu-Natal Friday afternoon.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene at approximately 16:32 and met with the victim. He informed Reaction Officers that he was handing over envelopes of cash to his employees when two men confronted him. One suspect produced a firearm and forced him out of the bakkie. They stole the envelopes before they fled into the bush. The victim’s bakkie started to roll and came to a stop on an embankment approximately 50 metres away.
No injuries were reported.
