Church Street in Oudtshoorn has been closed while the low-water bridge is being repaired

Motorists are urgently notified that repairs to Church- and Rademeyer Streets commenced today resulting in closure.

Church Street will be closed for at least three weeks while the low-water bridge is being repaired. Ruwacon has offered to do the repair work at their own cost while they are in the process of replacing the Westbank pipeline.

Rademeyer Street will be closed till further notice while emergency repair work is being done to the road surface across the river.

The patience of motorists is appreciated and are urgently asked not to attempt to use these two streets at all while they are closed.
