21 people have been injured in a structural collapse on Castle Street, Cape Town

Employees from impact.com met for after-work drinks at Athletic Club & Social in the CBD. At 5.30 pm the balcony of the heritage building collapsed.

Emergency services responded to the scene of a structural collapse on Castle Street in Cape Town. 21 employees were injured in the incident, some with serious injuries while others suffered scratches and bruises.

Athletic Club & Social released a statement on its Instagram page on Friday.
