A man was injured after a retaining wall collapsed onto his house on Pricklepear Road in Waterloo, KwaZulu-Natal during the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene at approximately 04:29. It was established that the homeowner was asleep when the incident occurred.
He was injured and transported privately to a medical facility before the arrival of First Responders. The extent of his injuries could not be confirmed. He was alone in the house at the time of the incident.
His house was extensively damaged.
