The Limpopo Department of Public Works Roads and Infrastructure is hard at work fixing the damaged portion of the D447 Road at Kgapane in the Greater Letaba Municipality.
The department dispatched its gravelling team to assist in creating a bypass, as well as coming up with a short-term solution after a sinkhole developed on the road.
The team is temporarily fixing the damaged road to create a safer environment for motorists, while the department’s entity RAL and the local municipality are working hard to find a long-lasting solution.
MEC Nkakareng Rakgoale has urged motorists driving on the road to do so with extra caution to avert accidents.
