Infrastructure Services continues with the annual cleaning of the town’s reservoirs, as previously reported. Last week, the 13.5 Ml Old Wesbank Reservoir was cleaned, marking the completion of three out of the town’s five reservoirs.
The remaining two, New West and New East, are scheduled for cleaning in the coming weeks.
In addition to the cleaning process, an inspection of each reservoir’s structural integrity is carried out. We are pleased to report that no major issues were found in the Old Wesbank Reservoir, and its structural integrity appears sound.
