Four construction workers were injured in a collision on the N3 at Balgowan

Multiple construction workers were injured when a car collided with their vehicle on the N3.

Midlands EMS Advanced Life Support paramedics were dispatched to the N3 at Balgowan for a motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, it was found that a car had collided with a construction vehicle, leaving multiple workers injured. One worker was found in critical condition, requiring urgent advanced life support treatment and was placed on a manual ventilator on the scene.

Three others sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

All patients were treated on scene before being transported to various hospitals for further care.

Authorities were in attendance.
