Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) are currently (Thursday, 15:12), assisting a 61-year-old man trapped in the wreckage of an overturned truck in Ogunjini, KwaZulu-Natal.
The Mercedes Benz Transit Mixture truck was travelling down a steep road when it overturned multiple times. The truck came to rest on its passenger side next to the road. The driver’s legs are trapped under the dashboard.
RUSA Paramedics treated visible and accessible injuries.
Firefighters are in the process of extricating the man with the use of pneumatic equipment.
