A 2.5-meter Black Mamba has been removed and relocated from a construction site near King Shaka International Airport in KZN.
Controllers at Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) dispatched Area Manager Nkosinathi (Nathi) Ndaba to remove the reptile after construction workers reported seeing a large snake in the area. Officer Ndaba located the snake under a pile of metal roof sheeting and safely removed it.
The snake was relocated away from human interaction.
