Ernest Rachoene, the Limpopo MEC for Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure, is in Matome to monitor the #DikgerekgereWednesday service delivery acceleration programme. This initiative focuses on maintaining gravel roads to ensure safe and accessible infrastructure for local communities.
MEC Rachoene is currently assessing road D3615, which has suffered extensive damage due to recent floods. Erosion has created deep dongas along several sections, while drainage structures, including culverts, are buried under sand, posing significant challenges for road users.
The Department remains committed to addressing these issues swiftly and effectively, reinforcing its dedication to improving provincial roads and meeting the needs of Limpopo residents.
