A JCB (TLB) Front-End Loader with registration NJ 65391 was stolen and a white Toyota Hilux Bakkie with registration NJ 550 was hijacked hours apart at the same location in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was informed of the incidents by the owner of the vehicles offering a reward for the recoveries.
According to information received, the TLB – Front End Loader was stolen last night (Monday) by unknown suspects (time not confirmed). A Manager of the construction company arrived on the premises this morning at 09:00 (Tuesday) to investigate & was held at gunpoint by three (3) armed suspects. They deprived him of valuables and fled with his company Toyota Hilux Bakkie.
